If you haven’t gotten a chance to get caught up on the trends coming out of New York Fashion Week this year, keep reading. We got you covered—in plaid, that is.
Plaid. Solid is out and plaid is in. New York Fashion Week 2013 shows plenty of plaid dresses, jackets, pants, and more. The plaid features earth tones with pops of color.
Hounds-Tooth. This trend is probably my favorite. I especially love it in this season’s blue/black, as well as the classic black/white. Make sure you save your pieces when this trend is out, because hounds-tooth seems to come in and out of style every so many years. What do you think about this season’s take on it?
Sporty. Designers showed off their sporty side with zipper details and anorak dresses.
Leather. Many of the designers this year included at least one black leather piece in their colle
ctions for Fall/Winter 2013 — and many designers are offering several leather looks.
